Civil law is one of the most important branches of private law that regulates relations that arise between persons who do not act in the capacity of a sovereign. Civil law is the law that regulates financial legal ties, with the exception of those related to trade and personal relations of individuals with each other. With this definition, it regulates two types of private relationships for individuals: financial transactions, and personal status.
